Mental Health and the Issues Facing Society, 28/29th September 2009 -  Luxembourg

The first Luxembourg Symposium on Mental Health will explore the various ways in which a wide range of individuals and organisations can promote mental health, and more specifically the reintegration and participation in society of people with mental illnesses.

Mental health is an issue that concerns everybody. It affects people on many levels, from psycho-social matters to economics and is featuring more and more in discussions concerning education, justice and employment.

The main aim of the conference is to suggest a general and integrated procedure for promoting mental health by taking in to account practices and studies in the areas of prevention, rehabilitation and social participation of people suffering from mental illness.
