EUFAMI LAUNCHES A NEW SURVEY ON PHYSICAL HEALTH

This survey has been launched in a number of European countries in order to  evaluate:

  • How the general physical health of those who suffer from mental illness is being taken care of in your own country
  • What are the concerns of your members about their general health
  • How much information they are given about how their relatives with the illness can keep healthy.

The data collected will help towards understanding what services or information might help your  relatives/friends to keep healthy and how you can all help in the pursuit for improved physical health for those affected by mental illness.

The survey covers both family members, carers and also their relatives who are directly affected with the illness.  The countries in which the survey is taking place are:

  • Czech Republic
  • France
  • Germany
  • Greece
  • Iceland
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Portgual
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • UK

This survey is both web and postal based and the questionnaires are available in local languages.  The survey can be accessed from here.

The survey for people with schizophrenia (self experience) can be accessed from here.
