The NHS Health Scotland WHO Collaborating Centre on Stigma and Discrimination has published an International Briefing Paper and Practical Toolkit on combatting stigma. The resources were developed by a small group of experts led by the Scottish Development Centre for Mental Health. The group consulted countries across the WHO Europe region. The resources were launched at a conference in Edinburgh in late April.

Mental Health Europe launches a database of good practice on reducing social exclusion in mental health.
Details of the EU health inequalities portal established by the 'Closing the Gap' project. This project held a series of seminars in 22 EU countries in April, and its final conference took place in May 2007.
